Speed Mobile Truck & Trailer Repair

Had a coolant leak that kept coming back and Speed Mobile finally sorted it out. The tech traced it to the actual source instead of just topping it off like the last place did. When I was looking around Sugar Grove for someone who would come to the yard they were the ones who could do it same day. No more puddle under the truck now.

Used Speed Mobile for an alternator swap on my day cab. They were one of the better reviewed mobile shops near Sugar Grove when I was comparing options, and I get why now. Tech showed up with the right part, knew what he was doing, and didn't make a mess of my truck. He also took me through what he was seeing on the belt and pulleys since I asked. Decent rate for a road call. I'll keep their number saved for whenever something else goes wrong.

Needed a DOT inspection done quick before a run and these guys made it painless. Tech came to the yard eent through everything thoroughly. Found a marker light out and a loose mud flap bracket, fixed both on the spot. Had the paperwork done before he left way easier than driving in.

Called Speed Mobile on a Saturday when my truck had electrical issues and the dash was throwing multiple codes. The person who answered was straightforward about availability and said they could have someone to me within about an hour. Mechanic showed up right on that estimate and introduced himself before getting started. He plugged in his diagnostic tool and spent a good amount of time going through the codes before narrowing it down. Turned out it was a wiring harness issue near the battery box that had corroded. He showed me the damaged section before cutting it out and replacing it, which I appreciated because I like knowing what I'm paying for. While he was working he kept things organized and didn't leave tools or parts scattered around. The repair took a couple hours but he was thorough and cleared all the codes before wrapping up. Truck has been running clean since then, no more warning lights popping up on the dash.

My trailer had an air leak in the brake system and I was losing pressure every time I parked for more than a couple hours. I kept having to build up air before I could release the brakes in the morning, and it was getting worse. I tried tightening fittings myself but that didn't do anything. When I started looking for mobile truck repair options around Montgomery I saw Speed Mobile had good reviews and gave them a call. The tech came out the next morning and traced the leak to a cracked gladhand seal and a bad valve on the rear axle. Replaced both plus a section of air line that was rubbing against the frame and starting to wear through. That last one I didn't even know about so it was good he caught it while he was under there. Pressure has been holding steady ever since, no more waking up to a dead air system. The whole repair took about two hours on site.
